HomeMade Solar Panels

The official agency tasked to inform the US Government on energy issues, the EIA, says that households that rely on electricity to power their heating systems can expect to see their bills increase by 10%. To make matters worse, households using oil or natural gas will experience an exponential increase by as much as 23%. This expensive trend is here to stay.  With the rising costs of energy bills, people are understandably looking for means to cut down their costs and look for alternative sources of power, particularly solar energy, for their homes.

Some top end solar power systems and their installations can be quite expensive. Experts are hopeful though that the costs of solar panels will drop at some point in the future making them more affordable and cost effective for families to install them at home. The government already has offered tax credits for people using home solar panels. However, until production of such systems is not vastly increased, solar panel installation will still deemed as a “speciality/novelty” source of power.

However, if you are looking to install solar panels in you home no there is a cost-effective option - construct a homemade solar panel yourself.

Building a homemade solar panel can be easy and you don’t have to be an electrician. It can also be fun to anyone who enjoys a good weekend project. Anyone can seamlessly create his or her own panels, install them, and have them linked with house’s electric grid a lot faster than you would expect. Electric companies are usually more than happy to have home made panels in sync with the grid. Once installed it will decrease your power costs, probably in a matter of weeks.

For those who are keen on cutting the costs of their electricity while lending the environment a helping hand should consider making solar panels for their homes. Constructing your own solar panels will be rewarding not just for your pocket but also know you doing your bit for help the environment.

Homemade Solar panels are becoming an increasingly popular project for the householder to undertake in order to alleviate the financial pressures the power bill brings, as well as giving a helping hand to the environment around us.

Until recently how to make a solar panel was a process thought by most people to be only undertaken by experts in the area. Fortunately this is nonsense, solar power panels can easily be built by the average handy person with materials you can get from your local hardware store for around $200.

Quite  a few companies are now producing and promoting their own “how to make a solar panel” guide. These guides to homemade solar panels, retail for about $40 - $60 and are primarily available online via digital download.

Having purchased three of these guides and built my own solar panels I found they are comprised of a simple, easy to follow illustrated step by step hand book, often complimented by videos which show you very clearly what items you need to assemble and how to put together your homemade solar panels and install them on or around your house.

Once you put your “how to make solar panel” guide into practice you will soon reap the benefits, particularly financially. I estimate I have slashed over 70% from my power bill, when you package this with the ability to use power more liberally and maintain power during power outages, whether you choose to become totally dependent on solar or just wish to supplement your power needs, it makes sense for every household to have their own system.

The major attraction of homemade solar panels is it allows you to take full advantage of the suns power, a renewable and environmentally clean source of energy and best of all its free!. Imagine no more exorbitant power bills, whether you choose to become totally dependent on solar power or simply use it to supplement power from your power company, you can be free to use as much as you wish.

This article will give a detailed review on Earth 4 Energy product which is sold on the internet. I have tried other similar product which turned out to be a scam after payment was being made. Is Earth 4 Energy product a scam? You will find out in this article.

This kind of program may look like a scam at first sight due it sound too good to be true. People are often feeling skeptical when they read the sale page. Other similar program does not work as well as Earth 4 Energy’s material, because it covered everything in detail with illustration and diagrams. So it is quite easy to follow within the instruction manual. It also includes step-by-step videos which show you how to do it correctly without confusion.

The program teaches how to build a home-made solar power and wind mill that generate energy. The materials can be downloaded instantly through the website. The ebook is 73 pages which require Adobe Reader to open. Inside the actual manual, it consists of 16 chapters which have a lot of instructional diagrams and pictures. My favorite spot is where it gives tip on how to get a free solar panel at no cost, it is kind of interesting on how you can obtain them at no charge. Parts can be purchased at a local store or on ebay. It tells you how you can get them at below market price.

With diagrams, the Earth 4 Energy gives you the exact measurement. The map is outlined with the whole system on how it works and structure. It shows you how the battery is installed and connected to a solar panel. The direction of wire is shown in detail so you won’t have to worry about the technical issue. As for the wind mill power, the author gives you some tips on how to get the motor and other parts at a very low cost. All instructions are written with easy to understand language and show how the power system actually works. So how could it be a scam if everything is so easy to follow and understand?

Let me show you how to successfully create a solar system for less than $200

This article will show you how to power up your house with free energy and save on electricity bills. You can actually switch to free power consumption by using a solar power system or win turbine to produce electricity for home usage. A solar panel and wind turbine is a power generator that you can learn to build by yourself for $160 budget. I will show you how you can do it right away.

Before you start to build either a solar panel or wind turbine system you need to have the real information at hand, do not follow instruction from free source because they do not cover the entire instruction in whole. If you missed a single step or done something wrong it could ruin your entire project. So how can you be sure whether the information is completed or not? A paid instruction guide is more reliable and completed because they are written by someone who know everything about making a home-made power generator. The building plan has been tested and experimented so you do not have to worry about whether it will work.

By following a simple instruction in building the power generator is a lot easier because it does not involve with any complication and technical problem. There are many ways to make it but you should follow a proven plan. Parts can be bought from a local shop or online auction, if you prefer free stuffs you get them from the remaining parts of unwanted vehicles. The total investment is less than $200 so why pay for a commercially made solar panel and wind turbine which cost at least $1000.

A home-made power generator can really help you to save electricity bills. There is no reason you should pay for power usage when you can make them for free. People are still depend on utility companies for power consumption because they do not know how to build the power generator or thinking it is too expensive, in fact it is not. You can start your project right away and make your home become outstanding.

Homemade Solar Panel:

Today, it is easier than ever to build your own Solar Panel, with all the kits and methods available, your own homemade solar panel can be an effective way to produce your own power and save on future power bills. All the components required for creating your own solar panel are made available in most kits. These components typically include: solar cells, a soldering iron, flux and tabbing. Kits typically include detailed instructions on how to make a solar panel. Constructing a solar panel at home does not require professional expertise. All you need is a kit, guideline, clear idea and a logical mind. You can simply follow the step-by-step instructions available with the kit and create you very own homemade solar panels.

Homemade solar panel can be made from a collection of solar cells. Each solar cell produces a small amount of electricity, but collectively they can produce enough electricity to fulfill your household power needs. It is important for the panels to keep facing the sun to receive direct sunrays. It’s the crucial requirement for its working because again our logical mind says that the sun is the source of energy for our solar panels so it should not be barrier by shade or not-so-ample sunlight. There must be no hurdle between sun and solar panels, the way should be clear and direct.

You can choose from a number of tracking solar mounts available. The single-axis tracker is fixed at a vertical angle. The angel is manually maneuvered to follow the path of the sun, which is based on seasonal changes. For summer, the rule of thumb is to set the panels at your latitude minus 15, and for winter, you can set the panels at your latitude plus 15. The dual-axis tracker adjusts the vertical angle automatically. So you don’t need to worry about that either. It works easily and efficiently without any extra care and maintenance.

Biggest advantage of building and installing solar panel is that they are eco-friendly. They produce green energy to use the latest terminology. Other forms of electricity emit certain harmful elements that contribute to smog, and other pollution, while solar power is free from such perilous emissions. If you find you entail more energy output, you may add more solar panels to generate more power. At the end of the day it all depends on your own requirement of energy so you can adjust your solar panels accordingly. There is no hard and fast rule in the amount of panels, they more you want you can add to your roof with proportion to the space available.

The simple fact is that we cannot depend on oil and fossil fuels for our energy forever. Many people are already starting to realize this and are beginning to switch to residential solar power.

Using residential solar power may seem complicated but it’s simpler than you might think. I personally know people that aren’t as smart (or as good looking) as you and they have built their own solar power system.

First, let’s talk about what solar power is and how it works.

Solar power is an amazing thing. The sun blasts more than enough energy to provide us enough power to sustain ourselves. They key is being able to harness this energy and use it to our benefit. Our goal is to take this energy and convert it into electricity. Once we convert to electricity, this will give us all the residential solar power we will ever need.

Electricity is created by solar panels and converted using photovoltaic cells. The word photovoltaic literally means ‘light electricity’. Don’t let these big words confuse you, creating solar power for homes is quite simple and anyone can do it.

A solar generator can cost as little as $200 and can pay for itself within the first few weeks that you put it into use. Not to mention the benefits to the environment.

Let me give you an example of a recent solar generator I built. This is what’s called a ‘portable solar power system’ and can be made with only four pieces of material. (solar panel, charge controller, battery and inverter) These supplies can be purchased from any major hardware store and should cost around $200 total. This is one of the most popular systems to build due to the fact that it is ‘portable’. Take it wherever you like and you will never have to worry about the lack of electricity again. With a system like this, you should be able to get your investment back in as little as two weeks.

I have cut my electric bill be nearly 85% due to the solar panels I have built. Not to mention that the whole setup cost just under $200. Now how’s that for ‘going green’.

Anyone can do this, sometimes on a much larger scale. I’ve have know people who SELL the excess energy that they don’t use back to the electric company. So much for being at the mercy of the power company. Now you can actually MAKE money from them.

The idea of making homemade solar power was unheard of 20 years ago, but today is one of the fastest growing trends in the world. With the ever increasing costs of utility bills it just makes sense for someone to use homemade solar power as an alternative energy resource.

Homemade Power Plant and Solar Rebates

For the homeowner: Converting your home into a solar powered structure can be thought of as difficult and for a couple of reasons. The factor of attaining everything needed is one reason that people may never get started. They may think that it is impossible perhaps to do it on their own.

Another thing that stops most people is the solar cost and some may see that it costs somewhere between six and ten thousand dollars to completely convert your home over to Free solar energy and for most: That may be out of the question with a solar cost like that.

Something that not many people know about are energy rebates given up by the energy  companies. These rebates are really helpful and can really give a homeowner the boost that they need when installing solar energy components.

These rebates are like a lifeline when it comes to whether or not to equip your home with money saving solar equipment. The excitement is in the savings that you get which can be anywhere between forty five to seventy percent of the installation and setup.Great news for any homeowner that has seen the prices and have been discouraged.

Where To Find Them ?

Because there aren’t as many people that know about the rebates there are fewer people  that are aware of the resources and locations by where they can be obtained.Your local energy company is the best place to contact and find out what they have to offer. There may also be places in your area that are giving the rebates ,so don’t give up on it if your energy company is not issuing any at the present time.

Solar energy rebates may not be available at many companies in your area depending on where you live. This should not cause you to totally give up however and remember that you can start out with a partial Homemade Power Plant or Diy solar Power center if your not able to go full fledge.

Solar energy centers can help you at a later time to finish your solar system job with further rebates if they are not available at the right time for you . So don’t get discouraged and just keep in mind that you’ve already got a start so you’ve already done good.
